To the Fernandes family, I am truly sad for your loss. Mr Fernandes was such a kind man and he''ll surely be missed. I grew up on Shawmut Avenue and he was our backyard neighbor since I was 9 yrs old- 43 yrs ago. He always had a big smile, waved hello and asked me how I was when I came back home to visit and was genuinely happy to see me.
May you hold all of your sweet memories close to your heart and he''ll always be with you. Take care. Jan

To Eva and the family of John Fernandes, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of our dear friend John. It has been a long time since our friendly tennis matches at Buttonwood Park but we will never forget the fun and enjoyment we had playing with the Fernandes duo, Eva and John! We will always cherish the memory of those wonderful days. May God Bless John for all his goodness, we will remember him as a a friend, always.
