NEW BEDFORD: Antonino  Lourenco de Sousa Cabral passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Maria da Encarnacao (Vieira) Cabral.

He was born in Ponta Garca, St. Michael, Azores to the late Jose and Ana Ines (de Sousa) Cabral. A communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was formerly employed as a Landscaper at Heritage Landscaping Co., until his retirement.

Survivors include; three sons Antonio D. Cabral and his fiancée Sandra Araujo, Joao G. Cabral and his girlfriend Andrea Conde both of Dartmouth, Mariano L. Cabral and his wife Heather of New Bedford, a sister Maria Fatima Roias of St. Michael. Also survived by two grandchildren Ava Cabral and Emma Cabral, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the Cabral Baylies Square-Lamoureux Funeral Home, 512 No. Front Street, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday, at 9:15 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 AM in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle Street, New Bedford. Interment at St. John Cemetery.

Heather and family - I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I pray that you and your family will be comforted by the peace of God. I know how difficult it is to lose a father. May the memories you have help you as you go on without his presence.
