NEW BEDFORD: Alzira Dos Santos, 96, passed away at Hathaway Manor on Tuesday, April 02, 2019
after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Antonio Adao.

She was born in Pinho, Boticas, Portugal to the late Augusto Dos Santos and Delfina Pires. A communicant of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church.

She is survived by two sons Jose Adao and his wife Ana of Dartmouth, Domingos Adao and his wife Mindy of New Bedford, three sisters Fatima Goncalves of New Bedford, Carminda Pires of Portugal, Lucilia Dias of France. Also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her visiting hours will be Friday, April 05, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM at the Cabral Baylies Square-Lamoureux Funeral Home, 512 No. Front Street, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday at 7:45 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle Street, New Bedford. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation to be made in her name to: Alzheimer's Association -
MA/NH Office 309, Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
