NEW BEDFORD: Antonio Botelho Coelho, 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 04, 2021, at the Oaks Nursing Home, after a period of declining health. He was the husband of 49 years to Maria do Carmo (Camara) Coelho.
He was born in Santo Antonio, Alem Capelas, St. Miguel, Azores to the late Joao Botelho Coelho and Eliza (De Melo) Coelho .A parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church, and formerly employed as a Laborer at Construction Industry, until his retirement.
He leaves behind his wife of New Bedford, a son Antonio Coelho of New Bedford, two daughters Gorette Coelho, from Louisiannia, Lucy Coelho Giammasi and her husband David of North of Providence, two brothers Jose Coelho of Canada, Eduarte Coelho of St. Miguel, a sister Madalena Coelho of Canada, one grandson Liam Giammasi, several nieces and nephews.
His visiting hours will be Friday morning, May 07, from 9 to 11 AM at the Cabral Baylies Square-Lamoureux Funeral Home, 512 No. Front Street, New Bedford.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Friday at 11:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle Street, New Bedford. Everyone must wear a face-covering. Interment at Sacred Heart # 2 Cemetery, New Bedford.
