Obituary
MISSOURI: Beatrice (Canastra) Ouellette, 93, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, after a period of declining health, surrounded by her daughter at 6320 Waters Road, MO.
She was born in New Bedford, Ma, to the late Joao Cabral Canastra and Maria (Valerio) Canastra., formerly employed at John I. Paulding as a Packer, until her retirement. She was a member of the Dartmouth Seniors and United Auto Workers.
She is survived by three sons: Robert F. Ouellette and his wife Peggy of Dartmouth, Roland M. Ouellette and his wife Christine of California and Paul E. Ouellette and his wife Bette of Florida, a daugher Carol B. Steinburk and her husband Walter of Missouri. a sister Herminia "Minnie" Souza and her husband Joseph of Dartmouth, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her visiting hours will be Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM at the Cabral Baylies Square-Lamoureux Funeral Home, 512 No Front Street, New Bedford, Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Thursday, at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle Street, New Bedford. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery.
