Cynthia (Ricardo) Aguiar

NEW BEDFORD: Cynthia (Ricardo) Aguiar, 72, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of Manuel Aguiar. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Ricardo and Dorothy (Braga) Ricardo. Cindy was a very caring and a kindhearted person. She will be greatly missed. She fought long and hard.

 Cindy was the owner of Child Care Services.

She survived by her husband of New Bedford, daughter Lynn Mandeville and her husband Michael of Rochester, two sons Scott Aguiar and his wife Julie of Taunton, Seth Aguiar of Rochester, three grandsons Jonathan, Julian, Declan, one granddaughter Reses, one great-granddaughter Malia, four sisters Janice Harrison and her husband Alan of Dartmouth, Jeanne Faria of Dartmouth, Susan St. Pierre and her husband Rodger of Marion, Laurie Raposa and her husband Rodney of New Bedford, a brother Michael Ricardo and his wife Robin of Dartmouth, several nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by two sisters Deborah Ricardo, Dorothy Santos, a brother Richard Ricardo.

Her visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 PM, with memorial services at 11:30 AM.
