Obituary
New Bedford-Herminia C. (DeMelo) Lazaro, 93, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Manuel Carreiro Lazaro and Jose C. Lazaro. She was born in Saint Michael, Azores and has lived in New Bedford since 1977 and she was also a communicant of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church.
She was survived by two sons: Domingos Carreiro and Octavio Carreiro both of New Bedford. A daughter Ana M. Rocha of Saint Michael. A brother Domingos De Melo also of Saint Michael, a sister Inez De Melo of New Bedford. 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and many loving nieces , nephews, relatives and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 17, from 6-8pm in Cabral Baylies Square-Lamoureux Funeral Home 512 North Front Street, New Bedford, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday November 18, at 9 am in Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle St, New Bedford, MA. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery 1100 Ashley Blvd. New Bedford, MA 02745
