Linda Marie

November 11, 1949 ~ January 28, 2023 (age 73) 73 Years Old

Obituary

On January 28, 2023, at 6:10 pm, our beautiful, spunky mother left us for her next adventure.
She was born in Acushnet, MA, on November 11, 1949. She lived in the New Bedford/Dartmouth area for most of her life until she trekked to Utah in 2002. Mom worked for

BayBank for 19 years until she decided to stay home with us. According to her, we were the two greatest gifts given to her by our Dad, Oliver M. Cabral.
We were her world until Cooper and Georgia, her grandchildren, came into our lives. Mom and Cooper were two peas in a pod and best friends. Georgia was her comic relief and always gave
Grandma a run for her money.

Mom loved gardening, all things Native American, and was a news junkie. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, always stood up for what she thought was right, advocated, and
loved being around her kids and grandkids (mostly her grandkids). Mom leaves behind broken hearts in her daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Isaac McElheny; her grandkids, Cooper and
Georgia McElheny, her son and daughter-in-law, Nate Cabral and Jessica Lassey; her mother, Herminia Jerome; her siblings, Al and his wife, Jeanne Jeronymo, Carol and her husband, Joe
Raposo, Richard and his wife, Karen Jeronymo, along with her dear nieces, nephews, and friends.

We know she was given the rules for this next adventure, even though she will throw them to the wayside, by those she has lost and has been missing; her brother Caesar Jeronymo, her sister Lori Jeronymo, her nephew Jesse Guerra, her Godmother Mary Correia, aunts, uncles, and friends. Mom's wishes are to be cremated and brought home to be spread over her favorite place, Cape Cod.

There will never be another like you, and we will see you in the birds.

We love you, Mum.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
