FAIRHAVEN: Maria Adelia M. Ruas, 99, passed away Wednesday, June 01, 2022 at Alden Court Home, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Julio Ruas.
She was born in Chaves, Portugal to the late Francisco Mendes and Custodia Goncalves. She is survived by her cousin Antonio Mendes of Fairhaven, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her visiting hours will be Friday, June 03, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM at the Cabral Baylies Square-Lamoureux Funeral Home, 512 No. Front Street, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 9 AM at St. Mary's Church, Main Street, Fairhaven. Interment at River Side Cemetery, Fairhaven.
