Obituary
ACUSHNET-Ryan Anthony Carvalho born in New Bedford on May 27, 1983, son of Antonio T. Carvalho and Connie (Dos Santos) Carvalho passed away unexpectedly at the age of 39. He was a life long resident of Acushnet and class of 2002 Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School graduate. Ryan spent most of his career employed with J.F. White Contracting as a Union Laborer out of local 223. Ryan loved his family dearly, especially his nieces, as well as his dog’s Buddy and Ringo. He recently resided in Somerville with his girlfriend Jenna whom he adored.
> He was an avid Green Bay Packers, Boston Red Sox and Benfica fan. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, loved playing the drums and listening to heavy metal and classic rock music.
> Ryan had a gentle, generous soul and would give his last dime to anyone. His laugh was infectious and his presence and smile would light up the room.
> In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Carrie Carvalho, his two nieces Lylah Rose and Lyvia Belle, all of Acushnet, his girlfriend Jenna of Somerville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved immensely.
> Per the families wishes, funeral services will be held privately in the care of Cabral Baylies Square-Lamoureux Funeral Home 512 North Front St., New Bedford.
